About Us

Joe founded JDM in 1993 in an effort to bring innovative, client-focused solutions to its clients. As a business owner with a background in accounting, Joe understands the challenges businesses face to offer a competitive benefits program that attracts and retains top talent while complying with the Affordable Care Act, and managing the ever-rising costs of providing health care to its workforce. He holds licenses for Life, Accident & Health, and Property and Casualty insurance. Joe lives in Rye Brook with his wife and three children.

Jamie’s career in health care spans over 20 years and has included leadership roles in employee benefits and insurance sales. He spent 10 years working in sales for carriers like Wellpoint and Oxford Health Plans. Jamie frequently presents and lectures to many organizations on the topic of the Affordable Care Act and sat on the New York State Health Benefit Exchange Regional Advisory Council. In addition, Jamie is the Immediate Past President of the New York State Association of Health Underwriters (NYSAHU) as well as Legislative Co-Chair, and is an Executive Committee member of the Business Council of Westchester, and serves as Treasurer. In December 2015, Jamie was named in the Employee Benefit Adviser as one of the 14 politically active brokers to know across the U.S. He holds licenses for Life, Accident & Health, and Property and Casualty insurance. Jamie lives in Rye Brook with his wife and three sons.

Dan joined JDM in 2008, after working for an insurance carrier. He serves as a single point-of-contact for many of JDM’s small and mid-size clients, providing day-to-day consultation on a broad range of issues, along with renewal analysis. With the increasing role of technology in benefits, he is also responsible for the implementation and expansion of these resources for JDM’s clients. He is on the board of the New York State Association of Health Underwriters (NYSAHU) as Communications Chair. He holds licenses for Life, Accident & Health insurance. Dan lives in Cortlandt Manor with his wife and two sons.

Alison joined JDM in 2001. With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Alison is responsible for the day-to-day service and support of JDM’s clients, advising and navigating them through the complex world of employee benefits. From the most basic questions to the most complex issues, JDM’s clients have come to rely upon Alison’s expertise on an ongoing basis. She holds licenses for Life, Accident & Health and Property & Casualty.  Alison lives in Port Chester with her four-legged children.

Since joining JDM in 2003, Lenny has integrated his financial industry background with the complex process of renewing employee benefits programs. Lenny’s expertise in both the insurance and financial industries has allowed him to consistently provide a comprehensive analysis of each client’s benefits and present options that balance the financial goals and challenges of the business, while still delivering high quality benefits to their employees. He holds licenses for Life, Accident & Health.  Lenny lives in Queens with his wife and son.
